English Version
The former Atsugi Keishin Hospital in Atsugi, Kanagawa, is associated with several long-running ghost stories and rumors.
One story claims that voices saying “It hurts, it hurts” can be heard coming from the operating room, supposedly from a patient who died after a failed surgery. Another rumor says the spirit of a high school girl who died by suicide can be seen standing at a fourth-floor window.
When the hospital reportedly closed in 1997, rumors spread that the director had died by suicide and that there had been medical malpractice. These claims remain part of the local lore rather than confirmed facts.
However, it appears to be true that in 2000, a man died by suicide after jumping from the rooftop.
The site is associated with the address 533 Yamagiwa, Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture. If visiting the area, view it only from legal public spaces and do not enter abandoned or restricted property.
