Reports of ghost sightings have circulated around the area near the Wood One Miyauchi Factory in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima.
On nights when the fog is especially thick, some say that groups of fallen warriors can be seen moving through the area. The factory, built along an old road, is said to have been the site of many alleged paranormal experiences.
According to local rumors, the land had a strange reputation even before the factory was built. There is also said to be a rock nearby where a defeated warrior once committed seppuku.
Sightings have reportedly occurred not only near the factory, but also by a nearby river and along a newer road. Because of this, some believe that the entire area may hold some kind of spiritual presence.
The location is associated with Wood One Miyauchi Factory, 2435 Miyauchi, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima Prefecture. If visiting the area, remember that the factory and surrounding private property are not tourist attractions. Stay on public roads, avoid entering restricted areas, and be especially careful at night or in foggy conditions.
