English Version

In 1992, an out-of-service train traveling from Zushi toward Kamakura reportedly made an emergency stop after the driver heard the sound of a sudden impact, as if the train had hit something.

According to the story, the driver later said he had seen “a woman dressed in white” crossing the tracks just before the stop.

Near Hisagi Railroad Crossing stands a memorial tower built in 1915 for people who died in railway accidents. The crossing is located around Hisagi 4-chome in Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture.

If you visit the area, stay on public roads and never enter the tracks or railway property. Obey all crossing signals and warning bells.
