Fuchaku in Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture, is said to be a place where some people can end up feeling as if their soul has been drained away.

According to these stories, many unrested or “uncleansed” spirits are believed to remain in the area. Because of that, it is easy to imagine why people speak of Fuchaku as a place with unusually strong spiritual energy.
