Drive-In Ichinomaru is an unusual roadside drive-in said to have been built in the shape of a castle. Its decayed, distinctive structure gives off a striking presence, almost like a fallen fortress left behind along the road.
According to local reports, a ghost has allegedly been seen in a restroom inside the building. However, the reason this spot came to be associated with paranormal activity remains unclear, and the story appears to be based on rumor rather than confirmed history.
The site is located along the Okayama Kaido in Shimonike, Kumenan Town, Kume District, Okayama Prefecture. Because the building is reportedly in a ruined state, travelers should not enter the property or any unstable structures. If visiting the area, view it only from safe, legal public spaces and respect local rules and private property.
