Tobichiyama, located in Heiwadai, Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture, is said to be a place where many spirits wander.
According to local rumor, the area was once an execution ground. Some say the restless ghosts of people who were put to death for crimes they did not commit still linger there, unable to let go of their regrets and attachment to this world.
If you visit the area, stay on public roads, respect private property, and be mindful of local residents.
