At night, some people claim there is a raw, unpleasant smell near Obu Station, along with a strange, ghostly atmosphere.

According to local rumor, a fire was once set in the restroom in front of the Obu Station police box, and a person died there by burning in what is said to have been a suicide.

The spot is associated with Obu Station in Chuo-cho 3-chome, Obu City, Aichi Prefecture. It is a real public area, so visitors should be respectful, avoid disturbing commuters or nearby facilities, and follow all posted rules.
