Inkura Falls, located in Shiraoi Town in Hokkaido’s Shiraoi District, is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman who died by suicide at the waterfall.
According to local rumor, a woman once threw herself from the falls. Since then, some people have claimed that her spirit appears in the area.
The atmosphere on the way to the waterfall is also said to be unsettling. There are reportedly three bridges along the route, and even those bridges are described by visitors as having an eerie feeling.
