The Old Tomi Tunnel was closed after the New Tomi Tunnel opened in 2004. It is also said that a murder once took place here. After that, ghost sightings were reportedly witnessed again and again, and the story gradually spread.
Could it be that the victim, said to have died an unjust death, is still trying to make their presence known to those who visit this place?
The tunnel is located in Yokotani, Yakage Town, Oda District, Okayama Prefecture. Since the old tunnel is closed, visitors should not attempt to enter restricted or unsafe areas.

この地で写真を撮影すると赤く発光した物体が写るといった噂がある。2004年に新富トンネルが開通したため封鎖された旧富トンネル。かつてこの地で殺人事件があったと言われている。その後、度々幽霊が目撃されるようになり次第にその噂が広まっていった。無念の死を遂げた被害者が、今なおこの地を訪れる人々に、その存在を示そうとしているのだとでも言うのだろうか。岡山県小田郡矢掛町横谷
