This is one of the better-known haunted spots in Akita Prefecture. The site is said to be a scrap yard where abandoned cars have been gathered together.
According to local rumors, car horns sometimes sound on their own, even though the vehicles should no longer be able to move. Some stories also claim that the spirits of people who died in accidents can be seen sitting inside the cars.
Visitors have reported that photos taken here show many orbs, and in some cases, what look like human shadows. There are also rumors that a car inside the property appears to be on the verge of falling out toward the public road.
Details are unclear, but the location is associated with the area around Hamada Nagasaka in Akita City, Akita Prefecture. If you go looking for it, view the area only from public roads, do not enter private property or industrial sites, and avoid visiting at night or in unsafe conditions.
