English Version
The former Sanshuen Hotel in Kota Town, Aichi Prefecture, is said to be the setting for several unsettling rumors. Visitors and local ghost-story fans have claimed that doors close on their own, and that lights sometimes appear in rooms where no one should be present.
The hotel was once a busy place, but it reportedly shut down after a food poisoning incident. Over time, the abandoned building became linked with darker stories, including the rumor that the owner died by suicide.
Some say the owner’s spirit may still be wandering the property, unable to let go of the place. As with many abandoned-location legends, these stories remain rumors rather than confirmed facts.
The site is associated with the Obara area of Fukozu, Kota Town, Nukata District, Aichi Prefecture. If you are interested in local haunted places, view any real-world location only from public areas and respect private property, posted signs, and local safety rules.
