The Voynich Manuscript, Part 2: The Unknown Script, Strange Illustrations, and Occult Theories
目次

English Version

The so-called “White House” in Niigata is said to be a haunted spot in Kakudahama, Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture.

According to local rumors, people have claimed that a woman can sometimes be seen watching from behind the window grilles of the house.

Another story says that a father once kept his daughter, who was said to have dissociative identity disorder, isolated inside the home. In the legend, the daughter allegedly used her father’s hunting rifle to murder her entire family before fleeing. After that, she is said to have disappeared without a trace.

These stories remain rumors and should be treated as local urban legends rather than confirmed history. If you visit the area, do not trespass on private property or enter abandoned buildings, and be respectful of residents and the surrounding neighborhood.

Location: Kakudahama, Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture
