Katsuta Bridge in Daisen, Akita: A Local Ghost Rumor

The Unsolved Disappearance of Asami Chida: Muroran’s High School Girl Mystery, Part 1
目次

English Version

Katsuta Bridge is a bridge said to be associated with ghost sightings and an unsettling atmosphere. According to local rumor, the spirit of a person appears here, and some people say the bridge can give visitors the strange feeling of being pulled or “sucked in.”

The story also warns that the place may be dangerous. There are claims that people have jumped from the bridge, and that suicides have occurred here in the past. One account says that someone who often passed through the area experienced convulsions there repeatedly, though the details are unclear.

Because this is a real bridge in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, visitors should treat it as an ordinary public road, stay aware of traffic, and avoid stopping in unsafe areas. Do not climb on railings, enter restricted spaces, or visit in a way that could endanger yourself or others.

Location mentioned in the rumor: 86 Yotsuya Kusakarino, Daisen City, Akita Prefecture.
