And if that power were used in the air itself, the concept of gravity on Earth could be overturned. In the most extreme version of the rumor, it could even trigger something like a “Big Bang.”
In other words, the story imagines a future in which humanity becomes capable of creating an artificial Big Bang.

未来を描いたドラマ、映画、アニメでも見るように、車が宙に浮いていたり、簡単に空を飛んだりすることができる時代です。これを聞くと、メリットしかない！と思われがちですが、反重力には恐ろしい力が秘められているのでした。私たちが普段使用している道具などは、小さな世界で見ると分子と分子が連なって一つの物体になっています。この物体の両端に反重力装置を置くと、いくら固いものでも重力に反する働きをするため、真っ二つに割れてしまうのです。これを空気中で行ってしまうと、地球における重力の概念が覆されてしまい、 「ビックバン」 が起こる可能性があるのです。
