English Version
The so-called “Blue-Roofed House” is a rumored haunted spot in Iwamizawa, Hokkaido. According to local stories, people who take photos here sometimes capture many orbs, and there have also been reports of a person seen standing at the window.
The house is said to face a “spirit road,” a route that spirits are believed to travel from a nearby cemetery. Because of this, it is rumored that people who live there experience one paranormal incident after another.
There are also claims that the area is close to a graveyard and that a suicide may have occurred there in the past, though these details remain part of the rumor rather than confirmed history.
Various spiritual mediums are said to have entered the house and attempted purification rituals, but none were successful. One story claims that when the chief priest of a certain temple stayed overnight to perform an exorcism, the priest himself became mentally disturbed and fled.
The location is rumored to be in the Midorigaoka 6-chome area of Iwamizawa City, Hokkaido, but details are uncertain. If you try to visit the area, be respectful of local residents, avoid trespassing, and do not enter private property or abandoned buildings.
