At this former railway academy site in Shimohama, Akita City, there is a rumor that men’s voices can sometimes be heard talking, even when no one is around.
According to local stories, a railway academy once stood here. It is said to have been destroyed by fire, and some versions of the rumor claim that people died in the blaze.
The location is associated with the area around 1-76 Shimohama Hanekawa Shimono, Akita City, Akita Prefecture. If you visit, do not enter private property or restricted areas, and be considerate of local residents.
