According to reports, human bones thought to belong to Lisa were found at the convent. Several other bones were also discovered, and DNA testing reportedly identified remains connected to a couple and their son.
The plan was to identify the remains believed to be Lisa’s, begin reconstruction work, and investigate whether she could truly have been the model for the Mona Lisa. Whether this will finally solve the mystery remains uncertain, but future research continues to attract attention.
Why Is the Mona Lisa Smiling?
One of the Mona Lisa’s most famous features is her faint, mysterious smile. Many people have wondered why she appears to be smiling at all.
There are several theories. One says the model had recently lost a child and was smiling while remembering that child. Another says Leonardo brought musicians and jesters into his studio so the model would not become bored during the long process.
The painting is said to have taken about four years to complete starting in 1503. Based on that timeline, the model may have been around 24 to 27 years old.

This other woman is described as having a slender body, a stiff expression, and a gaze directed toward the Mona Lisa. Why such a figure would have been painted there is still unknown.
Is the Mona Lisa Female or Male?
Some people say that if you divide the Mona Lisa down the center and look at the left and right sides separately, the impression changes.
The right side appears gentle and smiling, while the left side looks more solid in bone structure and does not seem to smile. Some even describe it as almost masculine.
The hands are also sometimes compared this way: the right hand looks slender, while the left hand appears slightly stronger or heavier.
Because of these impressions, some theories have tried to connect the painting’s androgynous quality to Leonardo da Vinci’s sexuality. However, this remains speculation and should not be treated as proof of anything.
An Alien in the Painting?
Another strange rumor claims that an alien-like figure is hidden in the Mona Lisa, positioned almost back-to-back with her.

これから、モナリザのモデル「リザ」の遺骨を特定し、複願作業を開始し、本物のモデルかどうか判断する予定だそうです。モナリザの謎の解明に至るのでしょうか？これからの研究の行方に注目です。モナリザが微笑んでいる理由。。モナリザの特徴といえば、ほんの少し微笑んでいる表情です。誰もが、なぜ笑っているのかと気になったと思います。このモナリザが微笑んでいる理由は様々な説があります。モデルである女性は、当時子供を失ったばっかりで、わがことの思い出を思いだして微笑んでいるという説やモデルの女性を退屈にさせないように、アトリエに音楽家や道化師を招いて楽しませていたといった説があります。

右目に「 lv 」左目に「 s 」「 b 」または「 ce 」と書かれているといわれています。この暗号は何らかのメッセージなのでしょうか？。背景にも暗号が隠されている。瞳だけではなく背景にも暗号らしき文字が書かれているのです。橋に「 72 」と「ｌｓ」と書かれています。瞳の暗号と合わせたら何かがわかるかもしれません。絵の中にはもう一人の女性がいる。モナリザの下にはもう一人の女性が描かれているのです。モナリザの研究者が調査してみると、なんともう一人の女性が描かれていることが分かったのです。
この女性の特徴は、ほっそりとした体、表情が硬い、目線はモナリザへ。とこんな感じの特徴を持っています。なぜこの女性が描かれていたのかはわかっていません。モナリザは女？男？。モナリザを中心に分けて左右別々にみると、右側和優しい表情でほほ笑んでいますが、左側は骨格ががっちりしていて、微笑んではいません。まるで男性のようです。描かれている手も右手はほっそりとしています。左手はすこしがっちりとした感じに描かれています。このようなことから、レオナルドダヴィンチは同性愛者だったのではないかといわれています。
エイリアンも描かれている。モナリザと背中合わせをする感じでエイリアンが描かれているのです。こちらをじっと見る感じの少し不気味な感じのエイリアンが確認できます。モナ・リザには不思議な話が多い。今回はモナ・リザについて紹介しましたが、この名画はモデルの女性や絵の中にも秘密が隠れていると言われています。真相が解明されるかどうかはさておき、今後の研究には注目したい作品です
