Minoyama Park Parking Lot is associated with several unsettling rumors. Visitors have claimed that, even when no one is inside the restroom, they hear sounds like something being kicked, or the voices of women talking.
The site is also tied to real incidents. In the Kumagaya murder and injury case involving four men and women, which occurred on August 18, 2003, bodies were reportedly abandoned at this parking lot. In 2004, it was also the site of a group charcoal-burning suicide involving seven people.
