Hotel 2001 is an abandoned hotel in Tomi, Nagano Prefecture, said to have been forced out of business after a murder case in the past.
Since then, it has become the subject of local ghost stories. Rumors say that spirits wander the building, and that if you look up at the second floor from outside, a woman can sometimes be seen standing there.
The area is also said to have been connected to various incidents. One story claims that, late at night, someone saw a little girl in clothing reminiscent of a zashiki-warashi—a childlike spirit from Japanese folklore—playing a ball game in the parking lot.
The reported location is 1106 Kemoyama, Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture. If you visit, do not enter abandoned structures or private property. View only from safe, public areas, and be mindful that old buildings can be dangerous.
