Suzuran Pond, located in Kobuchisawa, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is associated with unsettling local rumors.

According to the stories, the ghost of an elderly woman has been seen around the pond. There are also rumors that arms sometimes appear to reach up from the surface of the water.

Another rumor claims that the elderly woman died by suicide here. If that story is true, some believe she may have passed away carrying a powerful resentment toward the world, unable to see any other choice even in old age.

The reported location is around 2753 Kobuchisawa-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. If you visit, treat the area with respect, avoid entering restricted or private property, and be especially careful near the water, after dark, or in bad weather.
