Urasoe Dai Park in Urasoe, Okinawa, is said to be the site of many reported paranormal experiences. Stories include sightings of a soldier’s spirit, the ghost of a woman with a child, and a figure draped in something resembling a celestial feather robe.
The park contains many historic remains, and the area was once the scene of fierce fighting during the war. The cause of the reported hauntings has never been explained, but some people wonder whether the legends may be connected to the park’s history as a former battlefield.
