This site in Yawata, Kyoto, is said to be a dangerous place surrounded by strange rumors—some locals reportedly avoid going near it altogether.
According to local stories, the building was used during the war as an isolation ward for tuberculosis patients. Today, it is an abandoned ruin and entry is prohibited. People who claim to have gone inside say that old medical records and other hospital materials were scattered throughout the building, though these accounts remain unverified.
Near the remains of the structure are stone monuments and statues, adding to the deeply unsettling atmosphere of the area.
There is also a ropeway nearby. In the past, a tragic accident reportedly occurred when a 16-year-old boy who had come to the area on a test-of-courage visit was struck by the ropeway and killed.
The location is associated with Yawata Nishitakabo in Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture. Because the ruins are off-limits and potentially unsafe, visitors should not enter the property or attempt to explore abandoned structures.

奇怪な噂が多く、地元の人もほとんど近寄らないという危険な場所。戦時中は、結核の隔離病棟として利用されていたと言われている。現在は立入禁止の廃墟になっているが、内部に入ったものの曰くには、病院内にはカルテなどが散乱しているとも言われている。建物跡のすぐそばには石碑、石像などがあり、雰囲気は非常に不気味。近くにロープウェイがあり、かつて肝試しに来た16歳の少年がロープウェイにはねられ死亡するという痛ましい事故が起こった。京都府八幡市八幡西高坊
