Vanguard Tatsukushi is a former hotel in Tosashimizu, Kochi Prefecture, associated with rumors of a ghostly figure drenched in water.

According to local stories, many of the alleged sightings have taken place on the rooftop. Some visitors have also claimed they suddenly felt ill, while others reported strange experiences such as temporarily losing their sight.

The hotel originally opened in 1973 under the name Tatsukushi Highland Hotel. It closed near the end of the Showa era, then reopened in 1990 during the Heisei era as Vanguard Tatsukushi.

There are also rumors that a suicide occurred inside the building, though details are unclear.

Location: 1292-2 Shimokawaguchi, Tosashimizu, Kochi Prefecture.

If you visit the area, view it only from safe, legal public spaces. Do not enter abandoned or restricted buildings, as they may be structurally dangerous and private property.
