Mount Kuromori is said to be a haunted spot in Morioka City, around Ogayu 2-12.
According to local rumor, the spirits of two young sisters have been seen here. The story says the girls became lost at this spot and died, and that their ghosts still appear in the area.
Some visitors also claim that strange figures or ghostly images have shown up in photos taken here. As with many haunted-place stories, these accounts are rumors rather than confirmed events.
If you visit, treat the area with respect. Stay on public roads or marked paths, avoid entering private property, and do not go into dark or unsafe mountain areas unprepared.
