English Version

Near this spot in Kurashiki, Okayama, people say visitors may feel dizzy or lightheaded for no clear reason. There are also rumors that if you take a photo here, something ghostly may appear in the image.

The abandoned house is said to be covered in countless ofuda—Japanese protective talismans—pasted throughout the building. Some stories claim that loud noises can sometimes be heard from inside, even though the house should be empty.

According to local rumor, a family once died here in a murder-suicide, and a powerful grudge remained tied to the land. The many talismans are said to have been placed there to seal away that lingering resentment.

The reported location is in the Yuga area of Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. If you visit the area, view any site only from public roads or permitted areas. Do not enter abandoned buildings or private property.
