English Version

In Nishikata, Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, there are stories of a ghostly man whose entire body appears horribly burned.

According to local rumor, the site was the scene of a family suicide more than ten years ago, caused by a gas explosion. Since then, some people claim to have seen the burned figure there.

As with many haunted-place rumors, the details are uncertain and should be treated as local legend rather than confirmed fact. If you visit the area, be respectful of residents and private property, and do not enter abandoned or restricted buildings.
