Yohei-numa Pond in Kanisawa, Miyagino Ward, Sendai, is associated with repeated reports of eerie sightings, including a group dressed all in white and the spirit of a woman wearing a white kimono.
According to local rumors, many people are said to have taken their own lives in the pond over the years. Because of that history, some believe the apparitions seen around Yohei-numa may be the spirits of those who died there.
As with any real location, visitors should be respectful, avoid going at night or alone, and never enter restricted or unsafe areas.
