English Version
A rumor once surrounded the former Oshima Hamaguri Clinic: anyone who took home its old patient charts would be cursed.
The site was reportedly a company-run isolation ward for tuberculosis patients connected to Sakito Coal Mine, one of Kyushu’s major coal mines. The patients were workers associated with the mine, and the facility served as a dedicated medical ward during that era.
The building is said to have been demolished around 2006, so there is no abandoned clinic left to explore today.
