English Version
In Ichikawa-machi, Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, there is a house feared by some as a place where visitors are likely to experience spiritual disturbances.
According to local rumors, the site became known as a haunted spot after the family who once lived there died by suicide. Since then, people have claimed to see the spirits of that family around the property, especially the apparitions of those who are said to have taken their own lives.
Another part of the legend says that ofuda—paper talismans used in Japanese spiritual practices—were placed throughout the mansion to seal away evil spirits. Whether these stories are true or simply local folklore, the house has gained a reputation as one of the darker rumored spots in the Hachinohe area.
If you try to visit the area, remember that this is a real location and may be private property. Do not enter abandoned buildings, trespass, or disturb nearby residents. View only from public roads or accessible areas, and prioritize safety and respect.
