English Version

The former Ebara execution ground is said to be a haunted place connected to the Sakura Domain, in present-day Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture.

According to local rumor, the spirits of those who were executed here still appear in the area. One of the site’s eerie features is a stone Buddhist statue whose neck appears to have been broken and later repaired.

Stories also claim that some people who died after severe torture were later used for human experimentation, their bodies cut apart after death. These accounts remain in the realm of local legend and rumor, but they add to the grim atmosphere surrounding the site.

The location is associated with the area around 1-28 Ebaradai, Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture. If visiting, be respectful of nearby residents, stay on public roads or permitted areas, and do not trespass.
