A friend shared this local rumor from Rokugo Baba in Misato, Semboku District, Akita Prefecture.

According to the story, the spirit of a person connected to this former table tennis spot is said to appear there. The place is also reportedly used as a snow-dumping area in winter, and some locals wonder whether that has turned the spirit into something more resentful.

The rumor says that someone who had been playing table tennis here somehow crashed into a nearby tree and died.

The reported location is around 171 Rokugo Baba, Misato, Semboku District, Akita Prefecture. If you visit the area, be respectful of private property, road conditions, and winter snow-clearing work, and do not enter restricted or unsafe places.
