Akigase Park: Headless Ghost Rumors and an Old Battlefield in Saitama

Who Were the Anunnaki? The Sumerian Creator Gods and the Missing Link
目次

English Version

Akigase Park, located in Dojo, Sakura Ward, Saitama City, is rumored to be a haunted spot with unsettling stories attached to it.

Visitors and local rumor collectors sometimes speak of a headless spirit appearing in the park. There are also stories of a baby’s crying being heard from nowhere, though these are only rumors and should be treated with caution.

It is said that around 30 years ago, there was a case involving the disposal of a dismembered body in the area. Details are unclear, but this incident is often mentioned when people discuss the park’s darker reputation.

To the north of the park is the Hagura Old Battlefield site, connected to the Nanboku-chō period, when Japan was divided between rival imperial courts. This historical battlefield adds another layer to the eerie atmosphere surrounding the area.

Akigase Park is a real public park, so if you visit, go during appropriate hours, follow local rules, and avoid entering restricted or unsafe areas.
