Can You Spot a Ghost Photo by Its Color? Why Red Is Said to Be a Warning Sign
目次

English Version

Uogiri Dam in Saeki Ward, Hiroshima, is known among local ghost-story fans as a place where unusual “spirit photos” are said to appear.

According to rumors, photos taken here may show orbs, fireball-like lights, or even people whose hands and feet look transparent or seem to vanish from the image.

There is also said to be a mountain nearby that was used as a wartime site for handling bodies. Because of that story, some people claim a ghost with severely damaged skin has been seen in the area.

Another rumor focuses on a tunnel just north of the dam, where the spirit of a woman is said to appear.

Location: around 998 Kamigouchi, Itsukaichi-cho, Saeki Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

If you visit, treat the dam and surrounding roads as active public infrastructure. Do not enter restricted areas, avoid blocking traffic, and be especially careful around tunnels, mountain roads, and water at night.
