The Lost Temple of Artemis at Ephesus: A Seven Wonders Ruin in Turkey

English Version

In Yamamiya, Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, there is a place known as Baba-ana.

According to local rumor, the ghost of an elderly woman is said to appear there. The site is also described as a so-called ubasute-yama—a mountain or remote place associated in legend with abandoning the elderly.

Details are scarce, and the story remains a local legend rather than a confirmed history. If you try to visit the area, respect private property, avoid entering unsafe or restricted places, and follow local rules.
