The Doryodo Ruins in Yarimizu, Hachioji, Tokyo, are known in local ghost stories as a place where the sound of an elderly woman quietly sobbing can be heard.

There have also been many reported sightings of a woman standing motionless at the site. Because of these stories, the ruins are often described by rumor-loving locals as a place you should never visit.

Another story connected to the area claims that a female university student who was brutally murdered was once buried there. According to the rumor, the killer was an assistant professor at a university with whom she had been having an affair. After the incident came to light, the assistant professor and his family are said to have died in a murder-suicide.

The site is associated with the address 405-1 Yarimizu, Hachioji, Tokyo. If you are interested in visiting places connected to urban legends, always confirm whether access is permitted, avoid restricted or unsafe areas, and be respectful of nearby residents.
