There have also been many reported sightings of a woman standing motionless at the site. Because of these stories, the ruins are often described by rumor-loving locals as a place you should never visit.
Another story connected to the area claims that a female university student who was brutally murdered was once buried there. According to the rumor, the killer was an assistant professor at a university with whom she had been having an affair. After the incident came to light, the assistant professor and his family are said to have died in a murder-suicide.
